Harvest Festival

Next week we will be having our Harvest assembly in school on Friday 20th October, this assembly is for pupils only. Each class and staff members will be collecting a different item and we would really appreciate donations for the Harvest.

We will be making some food parcels for local families, who would benefit from them. 

Each class will collect the following:

Preschool- bread

Nursery- tins

Reception- tea/coffee/juice

Year 1- biscuits

Year 2- crisps

Year 3- Shower gel/bubble bath

Year 4- Toothbrushes/toothpaste

Year 5- Pasta/rice

Year 6- Pasta/rice sauce.

Please could the items be brought to school by Wednesday 18th October

If you would like to receive a food parcel please contact the school office, via phone, email or text message ASAP to let them know. The food parcels will be available to collect from school on Friday 20th October.

Flu Vaccine - REMINDER

Please see below the link for the form to complete if you consent or decline for this year’s flu vaccination for your child ONLY for Reception - Year 6 children

If is important to fill in the form even if you decide not to vaccinate your child. There is an option to select ‘’No’’ on the form.

Pumpkin Fest - On Wednesday 18th October between the ghostly hours of 4.30pm and 6.00pm

Tickets for this event on sale through ParentPay. Once paid for they can be collected from the school office.



Thursday Parent and children Forest school Toddler Group

Forest School early years sessions for children 18 months+ to under 4 years old (not children who are in school at this time)

Every Thursday term time only from 10.15am until 11.30am.

Children can explore the Eco-area while participating in nature crafts, messy play, nature kitchen and stories.

We will end each session with a camp fire, toasted snack and drinks.

Before and Afterschool childcare


Breakfast Club:

Breakfast Club runs Monday - Friday Term Time open from 7.45am

Children can arrive for breakfast club no later than 8.15am

£1.50 per session (pre-booking not required), must be paid on Parent Pay

Choice of options are toast (made to specification!), cereal and fruit. We also sometimes provide hot breakfasts.

After breakfast, the children also have a range of activities provided for them

Afterschool Childcare:

After school care needs to be booked and paid before the start of the week required on parentpay. This is to allow us to organise staffing and food requirements for each week.

If you have not done this, your child may not be able to attend or you maybe charged at an ad-hoc rate.

You can either pay £4 for your child to be at school until 4.15pm or

£7.50 for your child to be at school until 5.30pm.

Please note if you arrive after 4.15pm, you will be charged the greater amount.

Children in Year 1 to Year 6 will be going to the Panto at Stockport Plaza on Wednesday 20th December to see Peter Pan.

Children will leave school at 9.30am and return to school at lunch time.

The cost of the panto is £15 and is to be paid on parent pay. Payment on Parent Pay is also consent for your child to attend this trip. 


Week Commencing 23rd October 2023 - HAF Multi Sport Funweek - Broomwood October

Venue: Broomwood Primary School

Coach: Andrew Jones

Funded through Trafford Council & The Dept For Education, Altrincham FC Community Sports Ltd, are delighted to offer Free to access multi sport camp activities through the October Holidays.

Delivered by our fantastic team of coaches the children will enjoy football, cricket, tennis and many more games.

The children will also receive a free nutritious lunch.

Please note this is just for children eligible for Free School Meals in KS2 (Year 3 -6).
